Introduction to Linux Firewall¶
Common firewalld commands¶
1. Allow a port¶
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=443/tcp
2. Remove an allowed port¶
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --remove-port=443/tcp
3. Allow a service¶
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=http
4. Remove an allowed service¶
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --remove-service=http
5. Reload the firewall¶
sudo firewall-cmd --reload
